Student Eligibility Application
As part of The IBI Awards commitment to the beauty industry, students are eligible for (1) free entry into either the Student Hair or Student Makeup category.
The rules are simple.
- You must be an active and currently enrolled student.
- You must be studying in a beauty-related program (e.g. cosmetology, hair or makeup artistry, barber school etc).
- This is intended to give an opportunity to student artists who are starting out in their beauty careers. Please do not participate in the student program if you are a professional artist who is taking continuing education.
How to apply
- Fill out the form below to share proof that you are currently enrolled in a beauty-related program.
- The IBI Awards staff will review your application (this typically takes up to 2 weeks).
- If approved, a Student Invitation Code will be emailed to you – this code is the equivalent of 1 free entry.
- Choose the Student option in the entry form at beautyawards.com/enter
Evidence of Student Enrollment
For a proof of enrollment document to be valid, it must be issued from the educational institution and contain the following:
- Full name of student
- School name (letterhead, school logo or website address)
- Academic term and year enrolled
- Program of study
Examples of valid documents:
- Enrollment letter
- Receipt for tuition
- Timetable or course schedule
- Student ID
- Electronic Document
Please note that a combination of documents may be necessary to confirm your enrollment status.
