“Tear of the Sea”

In this collection, we were clear that two concepts had to be present: on the one hand, unconventional beauties, which at the same time are equally or more so, and on the other, the jellyfish, an animal as beautiful as the art of hair. The first part focused on paper sketches and hairstyle tests on the practice dolls. And once we had the designs clear, the difficulty began. Translating it to AI. And above all, that the jellyfish or elements should always resemble hair.

Each portrait of “The Unseen Essence” represents the mysterious and inexplicable aspects of life that we cannot fully understand or explain. These aspects can be both beautiful and terrifying, and they remind us of the vastness and complexity of the universe.
The red strings emerging from the subject’s face and neck area symbolize two things. It represents the subject’s life force or energy, which is flowing out of them and into the world.

My great passion is making big hair, as a little child I was a huge fan of Tina Turner, because of her I became a hairdresser. Now that she has passed away I wanted to honor her by making a series with her in my thoughts. One of the greatest artists who once started as a cotton picker in the fields in Nutbush Tennesee, and grew into a superstar and fashion icon.
